DSC01003.JPG
Unless you're the lead dog, the view never changes. This was the view of Bantha towing the big white rental trailer. The trailer was JAM PACKED to the top with STUFF, and 5 kayaks.

DSC01004.JPG
Heh, I like my work better than the County's, huh?

DSC01005.JPG
Fog shrouded the Loch early in the morning as fishing dudes hunted the tastiest fishies in the lake.

Andrea and Meaghan in the BEST Easter Bonnets at the party! These two were an AWESOME amount of help!!!!

DSC01021.JPG
The inflatable Easter Bunnies caused some excitement as we prepared for inflation. I only brought one whimpy car battery & an inverter. Would it work????

DSC01022.JPG
Paddlers kept arriving by the, well, BOATLOAD!

DSC01023.JPG
The paddle blocks a naked kayaker. (not really)

DSC01024.JPG
Heh, it's the Nametag Lady. She was GREAT and kept good track of nametags and signins. Check out her hat. It's the same one I'm wearing.

DSC01026.JPG
Hi, Marilyn. Marilyn went to some college on the East Coast I think. Or was it the West Coast. Or in Grenada or somewhere like that. I can't remember. I'll have to ask her.

DSC01027.JPG
Boats are tied to EVERYTHING in sight.

DSC01032.JPG
Meaghan and Andrea outdo themselves (as always) by setting up the raffle items. Andrea also donated about a zillion pounds of GOURMET chocolate. Geez, I about died from Choc-Overdose!

DSC04026.JPG
Mel thinks that he's a duck and can fly.

DSC04027.JPG
But he can't, no matter how hard he tries.

DSC04028.JPG
Mel is more of a flightless waterfowl than a duck, it seems. But don't tell Mel...

DSC04029.JPG
How about this for directions?

DSC04030.JPG
Well, time to pack up. Gail takes off with her green boat.

DSC04031.JPG
AMRO!!!! What are you doing with a ROW BOAT when there are free kayaks all over the place?!?!

DSC04033.JPG
DOCTOR AMRO! Paddling two beautiful babes!

DSC04034.JPG
Diane beaches as Mark chivalrously waits.

DSC04035.JPG
Diane practices stone braces on the boat ramp.

DSC04036.JPG
She leans to the right....

DSC04037.JPG
...and recovers perfectly...

DSC04038.JPG
The Baidarkas return. Without riders. Whales must have eaten the riders.

DSC04039.JPG
Dang, that's a work of ART!

DSC04041.JPG
Ed returns from a long day of hunting Loch Monsters.

DSC04042.JPG
No luck with the hunt. But there's always tomorrow....

DSC04043.JPG

DSC04052.JPG
Up the ramp.

DSC04053.JPG
Mark patiently waits.

DSC04054.JPG
They pull the plug on the lake every day at 6:30 and the lake drains. Well, that's what they TOLD us, anyway. But I think that's a ruse to get us off the lake.

DSC04056.JPG
See yah....

DSC04060.JPG
Deirdre prepares to leave.

DSC04062.JPG
"Um, Dean, who's going to pay for the iceberg damage to my new boat?"

DSC04063.JPG
Help yourself to a kayak. They're EVERYWHERE!

DSC04064.JPG
High Five!

DSC04068.JPG
Partiers.

Waiting to tow boats back.

DSC04085.JPG
Janine shows off her rare and endangered Purple Peeps!

DSC04086.JPG
Peeps for EVERYBODY!

DSC04087.JPG
Boats STILL litter the shoreline....

DSC04089.JPG
Another gravity well appears as Mel attacks Deirdre with an air gun.

DSC04095.JPG
Deirdre discovers the Air Gun, as Mel seals his fate in divorce court.

DSC04096.JPG
Deirdre hollers, "Mel, go git yerself A ROPE!" Terrified of Deirdre, Mel obliges. The lynchin commenses shortly.

DSC04098.JPG
Pictures galore, too....

DSC04100.JPG
OHMIGOAH! IT"S THE LOCH LOMAND NESS MONSTER!!!!

DSC04101.JPG
Han, just another Scot towing another party barge...

DSC04102.JPG

DSC04104.JPG
Z. With a Halo.... He must be a holy dude!

DSC04107.JPG
Followed by an eclipse of the sun....

DSC04110.JPG
Boats and Barges. Barges and Boats. Ken is a veritable AAA of the Loch.

DSC04115.JPG
Damn, Ken is GOOD! That gear barge is bigger than he AND his boat combined!

DSC04116.JPG
"Do you really NEED all this CRAP?" A Kenton-ism....

DSC04118.JPG
It's MILLER Time!

DSC04120.JPG
What, no LOAD? Merely an empty pink boat?

DSC04121.JPG
The Face of the Loch!

DSC05002.JPG
The ones that got away. Got away from us, anyway.... But not this guy.... (He wasn't with us, unfortunately.)

DSC05005.JPG
Like elephants in the circus.... Trunk to tail, tail to trunk....

DSC05006.JPG
...the chain of party barges continues....

DSC05007.JPG
Heh, isn't that the chameleon who organized this fiasco?

DSC05008.JPG
How many Beers? TWO!

DSC05009.JPG
No, make that FIVE!

DSC05011.JPG
PERFECT paddling style.

DSC05012.JPG
Look at that form!

DSC05013.JPG
and grace...

DSC05014.JPG
...and the Queenly Wave....

DSC05015.JPG
....Permanent Queenly Wave!....

DSC05017.JPG
The famous RoYak. Nobody used the RoYak. Its feelings are hurt. Boo hoo....

DSC05021.JPG
Beaching at the ramp sure is easier than beaching in the dirt....

DSC05023.JPG
It was a good hunt....

DSC05024.JPG
Who's the chameleon towing all the boats. What an ASS!

DSC05025.JPG
Oh, wait....

DSC05031.JPG
...Heh, wait, that's ME....

DSC05042.JPG
Oh, great, the LOADING commences. This'll take FOREVER! (Thank goodness for Mel and Ken and Barb and Deirdre and Mike and Cris and and and.... They stayed till the bitter end!)

DSC05043.JPG
Mike and Cris split.

DSC05044.JPG

DSC05045.JPG
Load 'em up, Head 'em out!

DSC05046.JPG

DSC06007.JPG
Well, let's see how much THIS trip cost me in gas....

DSC06009.JPG
Bantha gets a good dinner!

DSC06010.JPG
She gobbles hungrily because....

DSC06011.JPG
....she had a heavy load....

DSC06012.JPG
....to tow across the Himilayas....

DSC06013.JPG
Good Bantha!

DSC06014.JPG
HOLY SHIBOOTY! 97.9 miles / 9.036 gallons = 10.83 Miles per Gallon. I'd better get a THANK YOU note from Arco!!!!
